Leachate analysis from leaching column experiment to test the application of Portland cement to control acid mine drainage generation from waste rocks

Creator(s):

Abstract:
This dataset includes measurements on leachate samples including mass sample collected, pH, Redox potential (Eh), Acidity, Alkalinity, Flame photometer analyses of Na and K, ICP-OES analyses of Ca, Mg, Al, Fe, S as SO4(2-), Si, Cu, Mn, Zn, IC analyses of SO4(2-) and S2O3(2-), and charge balance error. Leachate samples were obtained from leach columns accommodated in laboratories at La Trobe University, Melbourne, Australia, using waste rocks from Brukunga, South Australia. The purpose of this dataset is to provide the raw data discussed in the related publication that test the application of Portland cement to control acid mine drainage generation from waste rocks.
