Susquehanna Shale Hills Critical Zone Observatory - 2017 high-frequency water chemistry of the Shale Hills catchment

Abstract:
Streamwater and groundwater samples were collected at relatively high frequencies using ISCO water samaplers in the Shale Hills catchment in the Shale Hills Critical Zone Observatory. The ISCO samplers were equipped with a gravitational filtration system, which filters water upon sampling by gravity. All the samaples were acidified using ultra-pure nitric aicd (2% v/v). This work was funded by NSF Critical Zone Observatory program grants to C. Duffy (EAR 07-25019) and S. L. Brantley (EAR 12-39285, EAR 13-31726).
