LA-ICP-MS analyses of 60 elements in 319 MORB glasses

Abstract:
LA-ICP-MS analyses of 60 elements in 319 MORB glasses from Mid-Atlantic Ridge and Mid-Cayman Rise, along with the mass peaks, isobaric interference corrections, external standards and detection limits of measured elements. Duplicate analyses of VG 2 and USGS glasses that are used to assess the long-term analytical precision are also included in this dataset, with the measurement and the analytical uncertainty of VG 2 from Jenner and O’Neill (2012), the measurements and the uncertainties of Tl contents of USGS glasses from Nielsen and Lee (2013), and the GeoReM values of USGS glasses for comparisons.
