Water chemistry for samples collected from shallow hand-dug groundwater wells, deep groundwater handpump wells, rivers, and springs, and bulk elemental chemistry for soil (n=1) and sediment samples (n =4) collected from the Third Section Morne Pele, Commune Quartier Morin in the northern department of Haiti. The majority of samples were collected from an area slated for gold mining. Water samples were collected from a subset of sites in May 2017 and another subset in November 2017 for analysis of total (T, unfiltered) and dissolved (D, <0.2um) trace metals, major anions, and total coliform. This dataset also includes water level measurements for a subset of the shallow hand-dug wells. This work was funded by the Global Justice Clinic of New York University School of Law and the 11th Hour Foundation.
