Abstract:
This spreadsheet compiles melt inclusion CO2 data from ocean island basalts for which shrinkage bubble sizes were reported, and presents calculations of shrinkage bubble and total CO2 concentrations. CO2 and H2O concentrations were measured in the glassy part of the melt inclusion, either by FTIR or SIMS. Bubble CO2 concentrations were calculated using the methodology described in Tucker et al. (2019). Data covers Iceland, Azores, Canaries, and Hawaii.
