Abstract:
Hourly meteorological and soil data for 2018 on a restored prairie ridgetop at the University of Nebraska's Glacier Creek Preserve in Bennington, NE. The Campbell Scientific meteorological station is powered by a solar panel (SP10) and rechargeable battery (CH150). Data is collected with a datalogger (CR1000) housed in a fiberglass enclosure and includes the following sensors: anemometer (R.M. Young’s 03002 Wind Sentry Set), all season pyranometer (SP230), precipitation sensor (Texas Electronics Tipping Bucket Rain Gages), temperature and relative humidity sensor (HC2S3), barometer (CS106), soil moisture, temperature and electrical conductivity at four depths (CS655), and high-resolution digital network cameras (CC5MPX). Evapotranspiration is calculated daily.
