Mineral chemistry of harzburgite samples from natural upper mantle shear zones in the Josephine Peridotite, SW Oregon
Abstract:
This file contains major elements analyzed using EMP, volatile elements using SIMS, and trace elements using LA-ICPMS of minerals from shear zones in the Josephine Peridotite, SW Oregon. Analyzed phases include orthopyroxene in all samples, and olivine and spinel in a subset of samples. The data were used to assess the roles of water and melt on shear localization in the upper mantle chemistry.
