The dataset provides ruthenium (Ru) isotope data for a set of Paleaproterzoic and Archean ultramafic rocks obtained by multi collector inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (MC-ICPMS). The isotope compositions are reported in epsilon units representing the parts per ten thousand deviation from the Earth's present day Ru isotope composition as represented by an Alfa Aesar Ru solution standard.
