Abstract:
This dataset contains geochemical and petrographic data for ignimbrites of the September 2016 basaltic eruption at Piton de la Fournaise (La Réunion Island, France). Also included are crystal size distribution theory calculations for crystal growth, nucleation rates, magma residence time in the eruptive dyke, and decompression rates calculations.
