Abstract:
This dataset includes mineralogical, U-Pb geochronological and structural data referred to Permian-Late Cretaceous sedimentary rocks and allochtonous units exposed in the Musandam and Dibba areas (Oman). In particular the dataset includes: 1) X-ray diffraction analyses of <2 µm grain-size fraction for clay-rich lithologies; 2) kinematic indicators from major faults and shear zones, attitudes of bedding, veins and fractures; and 3) in situ U-Pb analysis on syn-kinematic calcite veins.
