Geochonological and geochemical data of magmatic rocks from the Northern Yili Block
The dataset consists of zircon U-Pb ages, zircon Lu-Hf isotopes, major and trace elements, whole-rock Sr-Nd isotopes and mineral compositions. The secondary ion mass spectrometry (SIMS) zircon U-Pb analyses were conducted using a CAMECA IMS1280-HR system at the State Key Laboratory of Isotope Geochemistry, Guangzhou Institute of geochemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (GIG CAS). Zircon Hf isotope analyses were carried out using an ArF excimer laser ablation system, attached to a Neptune Plasma multi-collector ICP-MS, at GIGCAS. Major elements were analyzed by X-ray fluorescence spectrometry (XRF) at the ALS Laboratory Group, Guangzhou. Trace elements were determined with a Bruker M90 inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer (ICP-MS) at the Guizhou Tuopu Resource and Environment Analysis Center. The whole-rock Sr-Nd isotopic compositions were measured at the Guizhou Tuopu Resource and Environmental Analysis Center using the Neptune MC-ICP-MS. Mineral compositions were carried out at Key Laboratory of Mineralogy and Metallogeny (KLMM) of GIG CAS, by using a JEOL JXA‒8100 and JEOL JXA‒8230 electron microprobe, respectively.
