Abstract:
To constrain magmatic timescale and magma flux of Neoproterozoic granitic intrusions, we present U–Pb ages, co-registered O isotopes in zircons and whole-rock geochemistry from four main intrusions from the ca. 826~810 Ma Jiuling composite batholith in eastern Jiangnan Orogen, South China. A compilation of estimates for magma flux of upper-crustal (< 15 km depth) intrusions worldwide is also provided here.
