Abstract:
In the study area geochemical methods were a useful tools for understanding processes altering the quality of groundwaters during their flow, such as the interactions between host rocks and groundwater, marine intrusion and pollution coming from human activities. In particular in this area around Korba town treated wastewater was used for artificially recharge the underground aquifer. Records include: chemical-physical parameteres, major elements, minor elements and trace elements composition of water collected from 7 wells located on the north of Korba town.
