Abstract:
This dataset contains experimental conditions and results for calcite precipitation experiments from Mg-free artificial seawater (ASW). Calcite samples were analyzed for δ13C (ThermoFinnegan MAT 253 IRMS) and B/Ca (Thermo Element XR ICP-MS) at UC Santa Cruz. We used the CO2SYS program (van Heuven et al., 2009) to constrain the CO2 chemistry in ASW.
