Supplemental numerical model data of magma decompression rate from volatile element concentration gradients in crystal-hosted melt embayments from deGraffenried and Shea (in review)
Abstract:
These data tables provide additional information on the numerical diffusion models conducted in deGraffenried and Shea (in review). These models test the impact of three key simplifications on diffusion models that calculate magma decompression rate from volatile element concentration gradients in crystal-hosted melt embayments. The expanded tables include specific model durations and minimum RMSDs for each conducted test, as well as the data for the supplemental disequilibrium degassing models with different "catch-up" exponent values.
