Abstract:
This dataset contains the main geometric features of two canyons, as well as the Accelerator Mass Spectrometry (AMS) data and inputs required to calculate the valley flank erosion rates presented in Zavala et al., in press, Along-stream variations in valley flank erosion rates measured using 10Be concentrations in colluvial deposits from canyons in the Atacama Desert, GRL. The samples were collected along the Chiza and Tana canyons in colluvium at the foot of the valley flanks. Both canyon are located on the western slope of the Central Andes.
