Experimental Determination of Mantle Solidi and Melt Compositions for Two Likely Rocky Exoplanet Compositions
Abstract:
This dataset presents the conditions and run product compositions for partial mantle melting experiments performed in a piston-cylinder on hypothetical silicate exoplanet mantle compositions. All analyses and experiments were conducted at Arizona State University except for analysis of experiment R137 which was done at the Earth & Planets Laboratory, Carnegie Institution for Science.
