Major and trace elemental analyses of fine-grained mafic igneous rock from Stephenson et al (2021): “Cenozoic Dynamic Topography of Madagascar”
Abstract:
Ten samples of fine-grained mafic igneous rock collected from northern Madagascar (i.e. Nosy Be and Bobaomby peninsula) in 2012 and 2015. Samples were analyzed for major, trace and rare earth elemental (REE) compositions using inductively-coupled plasma-mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) and X-ray fluorescence (XRF) at the universities of Cambridge and Edinburgh, respectively.
