This data set presents major and trace element abundances and Sr, Nd, Pb and Hf isotopic compositions of andesitic volcanic rocks from the main stratovolcanoes of the North Volcanic Province of Colombia, which represents the nor! thernmost expression of polygenetic volcanism in the Northern Andean Volcanic Zone. Volcanoes are located in the Central Cordillera of the Colombian Andes (~4-5 °N). The data set also includes major and trace element abundances and Sr, Nd, Pb and Hf isotopic compositions of marine sediments and altered oceanic crust collected by coring at DSDP sites 504 and 84 in the Panama Basin, Eastern Equatorial Pacific. The purpose of these data is to evaluate the influence of subducted oceanic components in the origin of thick-crusted continental arc magmas.
