Abstract:
U-Pb data are presented from the Philipsburg and Mount Powell batholiths in the Flint Creek Range of Montana, the Cornucopia Stock, Oregon, and a tabular intrusion in west-central Idaho. These data were collected to determine the crystallization ages of these plutons and constrain the timing of deformation and vertical axis rotation caused by island arc accretion and and associated movement on Mesozoic thrust faults in the Rocky Mountain foreland.
