Water, Major and Trace element Concentrations of peridotite xenoliths from Lanzarote, Canaries.
Abstract:
Major, trace element, PGE and structural hydrogen (i.e. “water”; by polarized FTIR) concentrations of nominally anhydrous minerals and bulk rock peridotite xenoliths of Lanzarote, Canary Islands. Major elements by electron microprobe and XRF, trace elements by solution and LA-ICPMS and bulky rock PGE by ICPMS. Dataset designed to assess the role of metasomatism on the water systematics of the oceanic mantle lithosphere.
