Global overview of pre-eruptive magma chamber conditions
The dataset includes an overview of pre-eruptive magma chamber conditions that were prevalent before 245 eruptions worldwide. The overview is based on a meta-analysis of previously published geochemical and petrological data on volcanic rocks. Based on the data available in literature, calculations of storage temperatures and dissolved water contents are provided. Overall, the file contains crystallinity estimates, storage temperatures, dissolved water contents and melt compositions. A sheet contains the reference list where the raw data was collected from.
