Abstract:
Sediment, saprolite, and water samples from the Rio Guayanés and Rio Guayabo rivers in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico. Sediment and saprolite is underlain by granodiorite and is of the Late Cretaceous. The following measurements were conducted: geochemical analysis (ICP-AES & ICP-OES), surface area (BET), and mineralogical analysis (XRD). The purpose of this dataset is to determine the chemical effect mass wasting has on fluvial sediments.
