Sediment, saprolite, and water samples from the Rio Guayan├ęs and Rio Guayabo rivers in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico. Sediment and saprolite is underlain by granodiorite and is of the Late Cretaceous. The following measurements were conducted: geochemical analysis (ICP-AES & ICP-OES), surface area (BET), and mineralogical analysis (XRD). The purpose of this dataset is to determine the chemical effect mass wasting has on fluvial sediments.
