Trapped Under Ice: Spatial and seasonal dynamics of dissolved organic matter composition in tundra lakes
Abstract:
This dataset contains geographic information, water quality, DOC concentrations, and DOM properties of arctic tundra lakes. Lakes were sampled from the North Slope of Alaska between 2012 and 2014 summer the ice free (summer) and ice cover (winter) seasons in two North-South transects from Toolik to Utqiagvik. Samples were taken to study the seasonal and spatial distribution of DOM properties across the arctic tundra and how they may respond to a warming arctic.
