Abstract:
Glass chemistry of cryptotephra grains extracted from the 23.61-23.79m depth interval of the South Pole Ice Core (Antarctica). Measurements were collected using SEM-EDS on individual grains. Measurements were collected to characterize the identified tephra deposit at this depth for the purpose of tephrochronology. Prior to the release date, data and IGSN metadata are available upon request from corresponding author Andrei Kurbatov (akurbatov@maine.edu).
