Abstract:
This dataset contain geochemical data of the first 50 days of the 2021 Fagradalsfjall eruption, Iceland.
There are major, minor and trace elements of whole-rock, groundmass glasses and mineral-hosted melt inclusions, along with major and minor element composition of minerals (plagioclase, clinopyroxene, olivine and spinels) and Sr, Nd, Pb isotopes of whole-rock samples. The dataset also contains volatile-analyses (H2O and CO2) of groundmass glasses and melt inclusions. FInally, the composition (H2O, CO2, SO2, HCL, HF) of volcanic gases is also reported.
