Abstract:
This dataset compiles the bulk compositions for basaltic rocks , eclogites and olivine-hosted melt inclusions from various ages over geologic time. The data are used to calculate a 'vanadium proxy' used to constrain relative oxygen fugacity of the mantle source region of these magmas over time, compared relative to fresh modern basaltic glasses.
