Abstract:
We provide the data obtained from the bio-dissolution experiments in presence of the bacterial strain Pseudomonas putida two potash-lime silicate glasses: a Mn-bearing glass (VM) and a Mn-free glass (VNM). The experiments were performed in a buffered poor culture medium. The volume of the solution was kept constant while the amount of VM glass varied. Experiments with only the glass or only the bacteria were performed as well as control experiments. Average pH values (over two replicates) for the beginning and the end of the experiments are reported. The concentration values obtained by ICP-OES are displayed for the first (i) and second (ii) replicate for all the experimental conditions.
