Sr-Pb isotope composition of juvenile ash samples from the 1999-2016 eruptions of Tungurahua volcano
Abstract:
Samples are volcanic ash collected between November 1999 and March 2016 on the flank of Tungurahua volcano (Ecuador).
Isotope compositions were measured on 5 mg of juvenile glassy fragments, after sample dissolution and Sr- Pb separation using chromatographic methods.
Lead and Sr isotope compositions were measured at Laboratoire Magmas et Volcans (Clermont-Ferrand, France) by MC-ICP-MS and TIMS, respectively.
