Abstract:
Chemistry of particulate matter and dust samples collected in the Wasatch Front. Four datatypes are included: 1) particulate matter in three size fractions (PM2.5, PM10, and total suspended particulates, TSP) collected from 2019 through 2021 using an active sampler at the Eyring Science Center in Provo; 2) TSP and PM10 samples collected downwind of a gravel pit; 3) PM10 samples collected by the Utah Division of Air Quality at Hawthorne Elementary in Salt Lake City; and 4) dust samples collected with a passive marble sampler at Provo. All samples were analyzed for major and trace element concentrations and 87Sr/86Sr ratios after different chemical treatments.
