Abstract:
The Late Triassic Popo Agie formation lacks quantitative age control. Five hand samples from stratigraphic sections measured in Lander, WY were collected for LA-ICPMS analysis at Boise State University, Department of Geosciences. Analytical results, methods, and instrumentation, as well as two figures from multidimensional scaling models are included in this dataset. Youngest detrital populations yielded maximum depositional ages for the upper Popo Agie Formation from 3 of the 5 samples.
