This dataset contains oxygen fugacity data (FMQ and NNO) for global ocean island basalts. The oxygen fugacity was determined using the empirical relationship between fO2 and the vanadium partition coefficient between olivine and melt. Olivine and basaltic matrix compositions used to calculate fO2 are also provided.
