Abstract:
Analytical method description file: This method was designed primarily for analysis of volcanic glasses (e.g. tephra) by EPMA, electron probe microanalysis, using the JEOL JXA-iSP100 electron microprobe at the University of St Andrews. This descriptor utilizes the tephra community EPMA-SEM method template, an implementation of the Community-based Recommendations on Collection, Analysis and Correlation of Tephra Data.
