Abstract:
This dataset lists trace element compositions for garnet, clinopyroxene, sanidine and orthopyroxene in eclogite xenoliths from the Prieska domain at the western Kaapvaal craton margin (South Africa) obtained by laser ablation microprobe sector-field inductively-coupled plasma mass spectrometry (LAM ICPMS) using a Thermo ElementXR, as well as measured clinopyroxene 87Sr/86Sr obtained by LAM multicollector ICPMS using a Thermo NeptunePlus and garnet Fe3+/∑Fe obtained by electron probe microanalyser using the flank method.
