Abstract:
***Attention: there is a newer version of this dataset available at http://dx.doi.org/10.1594/IEDA/111214.*** The map shows the location of >300 basalt samples for which chemical analyses also are available. The samples were collected by submersible, the bathymetry is at <1m resolution, and the sample locations and bathymetry have been reconciled to <10m accuracy. Photographs of samples and their locations are available at MBARI.
