Abstract:
Major and trace element compositions of calcite, dolomite and apatite in carbonate rocks from Balangoda, Sri Lanka Element compositions of calcite, dolomite and apatite were determined with a 193 nm Coherent GeoLas Pro ArF Excimer laser coupled to an Element XR HR-ICP-MS instrument (LA-ICP-MS) at the Institute of Geology and Geophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Details of the analytical methods are available in Li et al. (2023). The data reduction software ICPMSDataCal was used for the off-line selection and integration of the background and analyte signals, time-drift correction and quantitative calibration (Liu et al., 2008).
