Abstract:
This dataset consists of U-Pb LA-ICP-MS data of calcite slickenfibers and veins formed during the main phase of tectonic activity of the major regional fault zones in the eastern Jura Mountains. U-Pb analyses were carried out at the Institute of Geochemistry and Petrology at ETH Zurich using an ASI RESOlution S 155, excimer (ArF, 193 nm) laser ablation system coupled to a Thermo Element XR sector-field ICP-MS. All samples originate from outcrops and a deep boreholes in central northern Switzerland.
