Chemical-physical parameters, major, minor and trace elements composition of groundwater belonging to the hydrological basin of the Catania Plain in Sicily (ltaly)
Abstract:
"The area study area represents the hydrological basin of the Catania Plain.
Geochemical methods have been a useful tools for understanding processes altering the quality of groundwaters during their flow, such as the interactions between host rocks and groundwater and pollution coming from human activities. Records include: chemical-physical parameteres, major elements, minor elements and trace elements composition of water collected from 2 springs and 46 wells in the 2004-2005. This study is part of the Water Protection Plan of the Region of Sicily"
