Abstract:
These datasets list major and rare-earth element whole-rock compositions obtained by X-ray fluorescence (XRF) and inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS), as well as measured major element compositions (including composition profiles) of garnet, clinopyroxene, plagioclase, orthopyroxene, spinel, sapphirine and amphibole from kyanite-bearing garnet pyroxenites located in the Gföhl Unit of the Moldanubian Zone in Lower Austria obtained by electron-probe micro analyzer (EPMA).
