Abstract:
Oxygen isotopes of zircon, quartz and alkali feldspar from the early Cretaceous postcollisional granitoids and intruded Triassic gneissic country rocks across the Dabie orogen in central-eastern China were analysed via laser fluorination online techniques. The initial oxygen isotopes of the magmatic and metamorphic water are theoretically inverted from the concurrently elevated oxygen isotopes of hydrothermally altered constituent minerals, and the cooling and mineralising implications of fossil hydrothermal systems are thermodynamically and kinetically quantified herein.
