Dataset of alkaline volcanic rocks from Tangra YumCo rift, Southern Tibet, to study the origin of high-silica ultrapotassic magmas in collisional settings
Abstract:
This supporting information provides the data of major and trace element compositions of whole rock and mineral samples of alkaline volcanic rocks from Tangra Yumco rift, southern Tibet. Major elements were measured using XRF, trace elements ans U-Pb geochronolgy by LA-ICPMS and mineral chemistry by EPMA. This data is used to support our study of understanding the origin of high-silica ultrapotassic magmas in collisional tectonic settings.
