Abstract:
This dataset presents in-situ trace element compositions of clinopyroxene and amphibole crystals in plutonic xenoliths (erupted fragments of crystal mush) from the island of St Vincent in the Lesser Antilles volcanic arc, measured using LA-ICP-MS. The samples were collected from pyroclastic deposits on the flanks of La Soufrière volcano on St Vincent. The crystal trace element data was used to assess fractional crystallisation and melt-mush reaction processes within the St Vincent magmatic plumbing system.
