Bulk-rock elemental and Sr-Nd-Pb isotopic, and in-situ elemental and Hf-O isotopic analyses of hornblendites from the Gangdese arc, southern Tibet
Abstract:
We report bulk-rock major and trace elements and Sr-Nd-Pb isotopes, and in-situ amphibole and apatite electron microprobe data and zircon trace elements and Hf-O isotopes of hornblendites from the Gangdese arc, which was an Andean-type convergent margin prior to the Indian–Asian collision. These data were used to reveal early sulfide saturation in the Gangdese lower crustal arc magmas induced by assimilation of ancient crustal materials.
