Abstract:
Four samples were collected from the Lingtai section of the Chinese Loess Plateau and the Xiashu loess section in Nanjing, Southern China, specifically from the L1 and S1 strata. These samples were fractionated into seven different particle size components and analyzed for their compositions of major and trace elements, as well as Sr-Nd isotopes. This analysis aimed to assess the impact of particle size on the geochemical indicators of Chinese loess and its implications for provenance tracing.
