Abstract:
Analytical method description file: This method was designed primarily for analysis of feldspar (e.g. K-feldspar and albite) from granitic rocks by EPMA (electron probe microanalysis) using the JEOL JXA-8230 Superprobe instrument at MNR Key Laboratory of Metallogeny and Mineral Assessment, Institute of Mineral Resources, Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences. This descriptor utilizes the tephra community EPMA-SEM method template, an implementation of the Community-based Recommendations on Collection, Analysis and Correlation of Tephra Data.
