Abstract:
This dataset contains clumped isotope thermometry (Δ47/Δ48) measurements for various marine gastropods across 9 genera. The modern gastropods span across the globe; the fossil gastropods (Campanile giganteum) come from the Paris Basin, roughly dated to the Eocene. The purpose of this dataset is to provide systematic clumped isotope measurements in marine gastropods to determine which species precipitate in isotopic equilibrium.
