Geochemical and Sr-Nd-Pb-Hf isotopic data of the Rajmahal Traps, India
Abstract:
Major and trace elements composition of the Rajmahal Traps, India shows wider geochemical variation. The Sr-Nd-Pb-Hf isotopic composition of mafic and associated rocks significantly differs from the recent eruptive products from the Kerguelen hotspot, suggesting that the Rajmahal Traps have originated from heterogeneous sources. Major oxides and trace elements were measured on WD-XRF and Q-ICPMS, respectively. Isotopic composition was measured on MC-ICPMS/TIMS.
