Abstract:
This dataset contains whole-rock and mineral major and trace element compositions of the harzburgites of the Luobusa ophiolite. Whole-rock major and trace elements were analyzed by XRF and ICP-MS, respectively. Mineral major elements were measured using EPMA, and the Fe2O3 and FeO contents of spinels were corrected using stoichiometry and secondary standards with known Fe³⁺/ΣFe ratios. Trace elements of clinopyroxene and orthopyroxene were determined by LA-ICP-MS.
