Sample coordinates, lithology, petrology, and localized trends of rhyolites from eastern Oregon
Abstract:
This submission presents Appendix A that include the sample coordinates for each rhyolite collected in the sample area. It also includes the lithological descriptions of each sample and the petrological descriptions for each sample. Additional geochemical and mineralogical data that is used to classify rhyolites in this study as A-Type, I-type, or Borderline Type. This includes the mineral assemblages observed in each rhyolite, particularly the mafic silicate minerals are presented in Appendix E. Appendix F includes extra descriptions and plots that describe the trends of rhyolites by localized sub-areas within the study area. Geochemistry, oxygen isotopes, Types, and ages are compared among adjacent rhyolites in order to establish localized trends. These are plots and descriptions that go into greater detail than can be included in the main manuscript text.
