Abstract:
The dataset consists of major element compositions of garnet and cordierite analysed in sample CP37 from Catena Costiera (northern Calabria, Italy), aiming to investigate the element diffusion during retrograde metamorphism. Data were acquired using a Cameca SX-50 electron microprobe at the Camparis laboratory in Paris. The elements analysed include Si, Ti, Al, Mg, Cr, Fe, Mn, Ca, Na, K, and Zn for both minerals.
